| Definition | The advanced level of aspiring bodhichitta, with which one focuses on one's own not-yet-happening enlightenment, imputable on the basis of the Buddha-nature factors on one's mental continuum, with the intention to attain that enlightenment and to benefit all beings by means of it, and then pledges never to give up this bodhichitta aim until one reaches that enlightenment. Abbreviated as: pledged aspiring bodhichitta. |

| Definition | Die fortgeschrittene Stufe von anstrebendem Bodhichitta, auf der man sich auf die eigene Erleuchtung ausgerichtet - die noch nicht stattgefunden hat, aber aufgrund der Faktoren der Bruder-Natur dem eigenen geistigen Kontinuum zugeschrieben werden kann. Man richtet sich mit der Absicht darauf aus, diese Erleuchtung zu erreichen und dadurch allen Wesen zu helfen; sodann verspricht man, diese Bodhichitta-Motivation nie aufzugeben, bis man Erleuchtung erreicht. In Kurzform auch „versprochenes anstrebendes Bodhichitta“ genannt. |
